Drop a MusicXML file here
.musicxml or .xml, up to 25 MB.
Choose a fileThe file is engraved on your device by Verovio — it is never uploaded, and there is no account and no wait. This is a viewer, not an editor: to change the music, open the same file in your notation app.
Compressed .mxl isn't supported yet — export uncompressed MusicXML (.musicxml or .xml) from your notation app. In MuseScore that's File → Export → “Uncompressed MusicXML”; Sibelius and Dorico offer the same under export formats.
Questions, answered
Yes — completely, and with no account. The score is engraved on your own device by Verovio, the open-source engraving library, so there is nothing uploaded and nothing for us to charge for.
What this page does: it reads an uncompressed MusicXML file and engraves it with Verovio, the same open-source library that draws our previews. What it doesn't do: open compressed .mxl files, edit notes, or export anything — for those, your notation app is the right tool.
