Your recording never leaves this device. It is decoded and transcribed in your browser, and only the detected notes are sent to us to be engraved. Solo piano works well; heavy sustain pedal, several instruments at once or a noisy room will need corrections afterwards — which is why you get the MusicXML as well as the PDF.
Transcription is hard, and this is honest about it: solo piano comes out well, while heavy sustain pedal, dense chords, a noisy room or several instruments at once will need corrections. That is exactly why every purchase includes the MusicXML — a wrong note is a few seconds' work in a notation app, and starting from nothing is not.
