Where it fits in a worship workflow
Original songs. Your team's own material has no catalogue page — recording the keys part and transcribing it is the fastest route to a score the whole band can work from. Arrangements by ear. What your keys player actually plays, written down, so the part survives their vacation. Key changes. The MusicXML opens in MuseScore and transposes in one step when Sunday's singer needs it lower.

When the catalogue doesn't carry it
The answer to "it's not on PraiseCharts" is usually a custom arrangement or a blank page. Song not on PraiseCharts and not on SongSelect walk the options — including what your CCLI licence does and doesn't cover when you write an arrangement down.
Honest limits
Where you will still proofread.
Automatic transcription is a first draft, not a finished score. The free 30-second preview exists so you can see exactly that on your own recording before paying anything.
No chord charts
The output is staff notation. Chord symbols, Nashville numbers and lyrics are not generated — that reduction is manual.
Record the keys solo
Full band recordings won't separate. Capture the piano part on its own, even as a quick phone take at rehearsal.
Sustain-heavy worship pads
Long pedalled swells blur note endings. Expect to tidy note lengths in the MusicXML.
One key per file
A mid-song modulation stays as accidentals, not a new key signature. Transposing afterward is easy in notation software.
Spontaneous moments
Free-time worship writes literally — irregular rhythms are correct but may need simplifying to be readable.
