About this topic

Most piano transcription tools do the same core job: they listen to audio and guess which notes were played. Where they differ is everything around that guess: whether you get engraved sheet music or only MIDI, whether the result opens cleanly in MuseScore or Sibelius, and whether you pay once, per piece or every month.

The comparisons here take one tool at a time and look at what it actually outputs, what it charges according to its own pricing page, and the kind of recording it handles well. Where a tool is the better choice for you, for instance because you need to transcribe a full band rather than solo piano, the article says so.
